Bento No# 121: Fruity Bentos

I am sharing the fruity bentos that I packed for my girl yesterday and today. :) I was not feeling well on last monday, so I slept early that night and not managed to wake up early for the next day. I was feeling better last night, but I overslept this morning, so not able to pack myself and hubby breakfast bentos too. I only have enough time to pack simple fruits bento for my girl. :p I will make one tomorrow. I have in mind what to do with tomorrow bento. :)

Her yesterday fruity bento includes golden kiwis, seedless grapes and strawberries. She told me she does not want her fruit to be put into the Fuel snack pod! LOL. Probably because all jumble up together and she not able to see the "cute" bento with picks. :p So, I packed the fruits in the my melody box. :)

Today, she had her fruity bento in her hello kitty sandwich box. If you see carefully, the golden kiwis are in kiiroitori and flower shape. Mommy lacks of idea already, as the girl does not want bread/sandwich. :( I also includes seedless grapes and mango jellies as a bonus for her.

Before I end my post, have you join my giveaway, sponsored by Trudeau Corp? Feel free to check it out here.

I am sharing where you can get the similar stuff that I used for this post. :)

Bento No# 119: Hello Kitty Bento

My girl's cough is not getting better and again, three of us had sleepless night yesterday. Unable to wake up early to prepare breakfast bento. I brought my little girl to medical centre early morning before drop her off in school. She was all good when she was with me. Doctor and nurse praised her for being a good and clever girl today, unlike two weeks ago where she cried and refused all along for jab. :)

Back to bento thingy, Trudeau Corp again sent me another big parcel last two days. This round, they generously includes lot of extras! I have to split the extras to two giveaways. Kindly check out my current giveaway here if you are interested to stand a chance to win Fuel products. The second giveaway will be after my second batch reviews. :)

The extras from a nice lady from Trudeau Corp. The hello kitty products range are meant for my little girl. Hello Kitty sandwich box, 2-pc Hello Kitty cutlery set and Hello Kitty straw cup. She was over the moon and happily showing to her grandma. She loves the straw cup the most. She said the hello kitty is swimming inside there. LOL. The rest are meant for mommy, the silicon cups in 3 different sizes and a beautiful set of 12 floral wine charms. :)

Like my little girl, I can't wait to use the hello kitty sandwich box too. Hehe. So, next day, I packed strawberries and mangoes in the cute box for my girl. This sandwich box is perfect size for toddler, i must say; while the Fuel sandwich box is more for adult use, unless your toddler is big appetite. :)

Trudeau Snack Pod Review

I will be going to review on Trudeau Snack Pod for this post. :)

I have been eyeing for this snack pod for so long and they are generously send me one. I am happy big kid when I got this for review.

This is Trudeau Snack Pod which has capacity of 4.5oz and made from environmental friendly and BPA free material. It is good for packing fruits, yogurts, puddings, apple sauce, etc.

What I love about this snack pod is the removable ice pack that able to lock onto the lid. If you see carefully on the interior of the snack container, it has a line to indicate the "max" level of your foods. Besides, it also comes with 5 years warranty.

This is how the ice pack attached onto the lid. So, you can keep your fruits fresh up to 5-6 hours! :)

Again, my girl launched this snack pod first. :) I packed strawberry yogurt for her. Topped with strawberry bites. The ice pack able to keep the yogurt cool. This is what I am looking for.

I also packed her favourite fruits, strawberries and seedless grapes. Again, the ice pack able to keep the fruits cool and fresh.

The snack pod has the indicator for max level. As long as you fill up your fruits below the line, then your fruits will stay pretty and un-disturb inside the pod. The hello kitty head is not comes with the snack pod ya. It is a gift from a friend of mine. :)

I actually tried to pack yogurt drinks into the snack pod too. Surprisingly, it does not leak. So, this piece of snack container is actually also leak-proof. Now, it becomes my favourite on-the-go snack container. :)

Trudeau trapeze lunch bag review on next post. :)

Bento No# 118: Pizza Bento

Out of sudden, I think of making own pizza after seeing few homemade pizza from Instagram. So, I bought sandwich wrap, mozarella cheese, honey tomatoes and ham. My initial idea was making bear pizza. But I failed. :(

The sandwich wrap was cut using the cutezcute cutter. I spread the bolognese sauce on the sandwich wrap before arranging the ham, tomatoes on the top. I actually arranged in bear face. Used the ham as eyes, nose, mouth, etc, before I sprinkled the mozarella cheese on top. But I don't see any bear face when i took out from the oven. *sob sob* The above homemade pizza was for myself. :)

And this for hubby. I saw an idea to include the hard boiled egg on the homemade pizza from Instagram. Such a brilliant idea and yummy! Do you see the hard boiled egg for the top pizza in this blue diablock box? :)

My little girl gets one slice of bear pizza too. :)  I packed two boxes for her. One for her morning break, one for afternoon break. :)

My first Trudeau Fuel review is coming up next! Stay tune! :)

Bento No# 117: Three Days Bentos

I received a parcel from a very generous and friendly lady from Trudeau Corp on last Saturday.

I received total 5 different items, 2-piece foldable cutlery set, trapeze insulated lunch bag, sandwich box, duo  stainless steel thermal food container and a snack pod, all from Fuel range and all in red color, my favourite color. :) It was my love at first sight when I see them. Beautiful! :) I'm going to review them one by one and at the end of my review, i will hold a giveaway. Sounds cool? So, continue to check out my blog. :)

So, I have made few bentos but I do not have time to sit down to blog (again, the same excuse, LOL). So, I'm going to post 3 days bentos that I made for my little girl at one go. :p

I bought the alphabet chocolate biscuits from Jusco and i think it is perfect for me to include them in my girl's bento since she does not wants sandwich now. So, in the box are all her favourite, blueberries, alphabet chocolate biscuits and strawberries.

Next day, I packed the same fruits for her again. Strawberries and blueberries. She seems does not get bored with these two berries!

FIL plucked homegrown papaya from his small farm nearby. So, I included papaya for her. I also included a packed of dried raisins into her school bag. :)

I am running out of ideas on how to decorate her bento as she does not wants bread and cheese. I can do much more cutesy bento with bread and cheese. I need to explore more foods for her.

Bento No# 116: Minnie Bento

So, I've back from holiday with sister and relatives. It was all-ladies trip as we were going to Bangkok. A shopping paradise to all ladies!

MIL told me that she packed chocolate biscuits and grapes for my girl when I was away. I was touched to hear that. My MIL needs sleep as she is still under medication, but she woke up earlier when I was away to pack some fruits and snack for my girl. :)

So, I have to back to my routine after holiday. Deep in my heart, I know that my girl does not like bread. I know that. But yet, Im not giving up to put in a minnie nutella sandwich for her again. I also includes her favourite fruits, strawberries and blueberries. I used my new picks, Okazu picks. So cute. Hehe.

A very easy peasy snack bento for little girl to bring to school. Takes 15 minutes to prepare. :)

Bento No# 112: Happy Friends Bento

Awww..I browse through my bento photos and realised I missed to post this bento. I made this on last day of February. :p

I packed fried mee hoon with oven-baked cheese sausages, and also homegrown papaya and blueberries in another layer. I got this cute two-layer strawberry lunch box from Daiso! What a good deal, RM5 for two-layer lunch box! The fried mee hoon was bought a night before for tomorrow's breakfast. So, I just re-heat them and pack them for my little girl. It is only very thin layer of fried mee hoon. I have no idea on how to decor the lunch box actually, and the idea of flower sausage and smiley face were spontaneous. Hehe.

Bento No# 108: Mustache Bento

Yesterday, 3rd February was International Fake Mustache Day. I was totally not aware of this day, seriously until I joined bento bloggers group and they actually having the blog hop to celebrate the day. How cool is that! I wish I could join too, but I was late to sign up for the blog hop.

Anyway, I still made mustache bento for today. Yay!

Hello Kitty mustache bento! It is really simple bento for my little girl. Nutella hello kitty sandwich. The hello kitty mustache is made out from nori/seaweed. I also includes strawberries, blueberries and kiwis. She loves fruits. :)

No specific idea what shall I made for mine. I still have wheat bran soft roll bun at home, so I made myself salmon mayo bun. Again, this little fella has more thick mustache! LOL. I packed strawberries and blueberries for myself too. It's kinda funny looking after I done this. One of my instagram friend said it looks like mister potato. LOL. I look and look and look, it does looks like mister potato. Hehe.

Bento No# 107: Monster Bento

It has been quite awhile that I didn't feel so stressful. I am actually blogging from my office now. Only few days ago, I realised that i'm actually looking for something to eat or do my own personal stuff to release my stress. Yes, i'm stressful at work now. Rushing for company tax submission dateline with so limited time. I have to come back to office to work during weekends to catch up my unfinished work. I took minimum 3 days half day off during weekday to take care my little darling after she back from class. I appreciate the time i spent with my little darling at home so much as I know, once i going back office to work, i will work late and no time to spent time with her.

Alright. To de-stress myself, i'm blogging. :)

Monster bento for my little darling yesterday. There's sausage bun, golden kiwis, blueberries, strawberries and small mandarin orange. Actually i wanted to make hello kitty bun for her but after i put on the eyes and eyebrow, it turn like monster instead! I did not made the mouth! The mouth is original from the bakery shop. LOL. End up, I just put a witch hat for the monster. No worry, she is not afraid with this little monster. LOL.

I also made a bento for hubby using Monbento. I will do a write up on this in next post. :)

Bento No# 106: Snack Bento

My girl is attending half day enhancement class and the class ended at 12pm. She then will takes bath and lunch in school. It is good that most of the kids lunches are home cooked by the Principal's father. My girl will usually knock off in the car within 10 mins on the way back and the journey back home is about 45mins drive. It is really a looooong journey.

She will continue to sleep after reach home and when she wakes up, she will keep asking for food. Thus, I made her snack bento again this afternoon. :))

A very simple one. Golden kiwis, blueberries and apricot yogurt in the little pail. I then added bee and ladybird cupcake decor, otherwise it is too plain. Hehe. I also spelt out her last name "QI" for her. It's simple isn't it?

Bento No# 105: Piggy Bento

Aiks. My girl did not finish her double chocolate swissroll yesterday. I made her piggy theme today. :)

The piggy sandwich was cut using cutezcute cutter. I love this cutezcute cutter so much as it is really easy to use. It comes with 4 different animals cutter as well. How cool! I put some nutella chocolate on the piggy eyes.

I added strawberries, blueberries, and two seedless grapes for her. I also include some dried raisins in the little piggy container. I felt it is quite a big snack bento box for my girl after I done all. =.='''

Principal told me she not did not finish her bento today. She finished all the fruits, but not the sandwich. I shall pack smaller one for her as this little girl really has small appetite. :)

Bento No# 104: Ugly Snail Bento

I bought double chocolate swissroll yesterday. So, again I packed swissroll for my little girl's snack bento. I do not have idea on what shall this swissroll can be turn to except snail. haha. So, again, snail bento.

I was thinking to make the body using white bread but the body was way toooooooooo slim. LOL. I was actually using multipurpose cutters. I should free cut the body instead. Thus, it turn out to be an ugly snail.

I added blueberries (she requested a night before :)), korean strawberry and golden kiwis. Since I made an ugly snail, so I added squirrel picks to match the theme.

The little girl asked where is hello kitty this morning. =.=''' I believe she will ask where is squirrel tomorrow morning if I'm not using this squirrel pick. She loves the cute picks as much as I do. Now I'm OK to include cute picks in her snack box as I know she able to handle the little cute picks.

Bento No# 103: Hello Kitty and Mommy's Bento

I bought lots of fruits on weekend. Seedless grapes, korean strawberries, golden kiwis and blueberries. All are good to put in bento for my little girl. So happy!

So, it's monday again and i'm gotta pack snack box for my little one again. I have lost touch with bento for few months due to busy worklife and also managing my bento biz. Besides, my sister in law is back home and prepares breakie for her daughter everyday. So, I took a rest for few months. LOL.

I prepared snack box with hello kitty theme (again!!). Cut out the hello kitty sandwich using the hello kitty cookie cutter and spread with her favourite nutella. Next, filled the little cute pail with strawberries and blueberries. This is my first time introduced blueberries to my little girl. Added hello kitty pick on the fruits and hello kitty baran as separator. It's easy and fast!

Update: The principal told me that the little girl finished her bento everyday today. Hubby picked her up for the past 3 days and today is my turn to pick her up. So, I able to get updates on my little girl in the school. hehe..

Hubby bought one loaf of cheese and sugar bread. So, I also packed myself breakkie bento. Hehe. Simple one. :)

Bento No# 102: Snail and Fruits Bento

I bought green tea and yam swissrolls from local bakery shop. I love their swissrolls so much as it's really taste good! But their price is getting more pricey now. But the shop was having 22% storewide last weekend and I managed to grab two rolls of swissroll! Hehehe

I was cracking head on what shall I turn the swissroll to the day before. I only got the idea when I woke up that day. I made this to snail bento and give the snail a little hat, punched nori/seaweed for eyes, nose and mouth. Lastly, put some seedless grapes and flower silicon baran to decorate the box. The little girl likes the bee pick, so I added in the box to cheer her up. :)

She did not bring two bentos to school. I prepared this on that night after her dinner. Usually, is daddy's job to prepare fruits for the little girl. But I was back home early that day from work, so I prepared fruits for her. Just to make her happy, I put the fruits into the box again. Includes in the box are golden kiwis, seedless grapes and strawberry yogurt in the panda container.

Bento No# 101: Fruits Bento

This bento was prepared for her on last Thursday. Booo...I'm late again to post. :p

Bread was finished and I didnt make any sandwich for my girl. So, I just prepared fruits bento for her since she loves golden kiwis and seedless grapes. I only bought seedless grapes for her as I worry she does not know how to spill it off the seed.

A very simple fruits bento consists of golden kiwis and seedless grapes for her to bring to school. :)

Bento No# 100: Snack Bento

I'm too busy to post my bento daily. >.< This snack bento was prepared on last Wednesday.

I was cracking my head what shall I include for my little girl's snack bento. Thus, I only includes seedless grapes and honey cornflakes cup which I baked the day before.

Added hello kitty pick and baran and voila! It's done. I try not to pack too much food for her as she will having her lunch in nursery after 2 hours of morning break. I try to put variety of food into the box, especially fruits.

Bento No# 99: Panda Bento

I was so happy when my girl finally takes bread. So, my bento journey starts to begin again. Hehehe. My little girl, QiQi is a small eater and I does not really sure if she able to finish them or not. Thus, I prepared in small portion.

Panda nutella sandwich using Cutezcute cutter. I added seedless grapes for her and panda picks on top. A bit too plain. I added the animal baran to the box. Ta-daa..fast and easy snack bento for her morning tea break. Oppss, i made this for her on last Tuesday. :) I will catch up my daily snack bentos soon! :)

Bento No# 98: Rilakkuma Bento

Hello friends! I am so sorry that I did not update my blog for quite a few months. I feel so guilty! Ahhhh...I wish I have 36 hours a day!

Okay...a brief update that I am now back to bento! I am no more making bento for my niece as her school now provides morning tea break and lunch! Her mom not even prepares her breakfast too. LOL. However, I am now back to bento for my little girl! Yay!! Finally, I able to make bento for my little girl!

My girl is 2 year old and I am sending her to half day right brain development centre. I only started to make snack bento for her on her third week of school.

She does not really takes sandwich or bread at home. So, I spread nutella on the sandwich for her. I used rilakkuma cutter as it is small. But there are actually two rilakkumas there. LOL. I packed some seedless grapes for her as she likes grapes. As this is my first time introducing bento for her, I tried to minimise all the decor until she knows how to handle them. Besides, I don't know if my picks will get lost or not. Hahaha..

Guess what? When I picked her up from school, the principal told me she finished her bento! She even asked for more porridge for her lunch. I am so happy and proud of my little girl. I believe, she will be very soon adapting her school life, although she still crying badly every morning! =.=

Bento No# 74: Sugarbunny Bento

*closed eyes with two hands*  (ashamed) I'm late again. I made this sugarbunny bento on last Tuesday. I was cracking my head what shall I do for my next morning bento and I recalled I have few cookie cutters yet to be used. So, I decided to make this little sugarbunny bento.
Included in the box are nutella sandwich, popcorn harshbrown and grapes for my niece.

I only packed non decorative bento for myself and hubby. Hubby told me he does not need a cute bento. (He is shy to bring cute bento to work :p). If I am running out of time, I will just pack normal bento for him. If I have time and the bento is speedy to work out, then I will pack a cute one for him. =)

This is mine. Included in the box are salmon mayo sandwich, popcorn harshbrown and grapes. See the little duckling? I love the picks so much. =)

This is for hubby. Inside the box, same as mine.

Hmmm, blog from computer is more organised than mobile blogging.

Bento No# 72: Owl Bento

I managed to buy burger buns yesterday and I made owl bento this morning. Noticed that I did not use nori as face decoration? It was actually faster to fix a bento without nori. Maybe Im not a detail person. It is sometimes takes me forever to fix the nori as face decoration. Haha. So, today I used white bread, cheese and chocolate chips as eye and strawberry as owl mouth. Do you notice the popcorn harshbrown at the pink box? I found this at Jusco and immediately I grabbed one pack. It is so suitable for bento packing because of the popcorn size. :) And, do you also see my little duckling pick? That is handmade.

Ok, the blue box is for hubby, pink one for myself and the smaller one is for my niece. Have a good night. :)
