Animal Palz Mini Sandwich & Egg Press

Aiks. I have been lagging again. I have so much to share, yet so little time to blog.

After long wait, here comes Animal Palz Mini Sandwich & Egg Press. One of the cutest and must have sandwich cutters for all bento mamas!

This set of sandwich cutters are way more functional than you thought! It is capable to make cute sandwiches, be it sealed sandwiches or non-seal sandwiches, your call! Make cute hard boiled egg, cookies, vegetables and even acting as food cup! One of the bento mama even use this as rice mould! How creative! You can look at it here!

This was what I did with the cutters.

It is a very simple fruit jam sandwich for my little girl.

Bento No# 126: Piggy Bento

I lost track which bentos I have yet to share here. So, today I am going to share this simple piggy nutella bento using cutezcute cutter which I made quite some time ago.

I love this cutezcute cutter a lot as it is really fun and easy to use! I spread nutella on the bread and the bread was cut using cutezcute cutter. I used flower cutter to cut the mangoes. It is simple snack bento for my little girl to school.

I packed myself salmon mayo sandwich. I love salmon mayo over tuna mayo. :) The little girl gets nicely cut mangoes while mommy gets the excess in the diablock lunch box.

I am sharing where you can get similar items that I used in this post :)

Trudeau Fuel Sandwich Wrap Review

I am reviewing Trudeau Fuel sandwich wrap today. :)

The sandwich wrap is made of food safe material, bpa free and reusable. So, you just need to wash it clean and leave it dry and you can use it again and again. It comes with an instruction and step-by-step picture on how to use the wrap. So, no worry if you do not know how to fold the wrap, it is pretty easy. :) But never mind, I will show step-by-step tutorial on how to wrap in this post. I have plenty of time that morning. LOL.

Open the wrap and place the bread in the centre. The bread here is honey wheat bread which my MIL likes it. She said it is softer than sunflower wheatgrain bread.

Next, you may put in whatever fillings you like. I have lettuce, slice of cheese, fish fillet and mayo as filling.

Next, covered it with another slice of bread.

After that, fold the wrap from left and from right, like the photo above. You may do it from right to left. Up to you. :p

I forgot to take photo after folded the wrap from bottom. Sorry! So, the above photo shows how it looks like when the wrap is folded.

This is how the sandwich stays inside the wrap, neatly.

I packed them in Fuel sandwich box and it fit nicely into the box. I added chilli sauce into the little panda cup.  Hubby had this for his breakfast while I had Shokupanman bento that morning. :)  The sandwich wrap can be use for wrap too. I will try that probably next week. :)

I am sharing where you can get similar stuff that I used in this post :)

Bento No# 122: Shokupanman Bento

I slept early yesterday night because hubby worked late and I had to put my girl to sleep. So, this morning, I woke up before 6 to prepare breakfast bento. :)

I fixed myself shokupanman bento. Shokupanman is one of the main character in Anpanman anime. Shokupanman has "bread" face shape. It is cute! :) Jusco shopping mall has a children train with the Anpanman and friends characters, including Shokupanman. My little girl always asks for a ride everytime she goes Jusco. I saw this idea when I browsing for bento ideas from pinterest, on my bed, before sleep. LOL

The shokupanman is made of buttermilk raisin bread with fish fillet, sliced of cheese, lettuce and mayo fillings. The face details are made of nori and cheese. The small rabbit container is filled with chilli sauce. It is really simple one but the nori cutting is really killing me, especially the eyebrows and nose. So slim. I don't think I able to do such nori cutting every morning. I don't have the luxury time to do that. I packed hubby the same food too, but I will leave it to next post, as I will be reviewing Trudeau sandwich wrap in my next post.

Bento No# 116: Minnie Bento

So, I've back from holiday with sister and relatives. It was all-ladies trip as we were going to Bangkok. A shopping paradise to all ladies!

MIL told me that she packed chocolate biscuits and grapes for my girl when I was away. I was touched to hear that. My MIL needs sleep as she is still under medication, but she woke up earlier when I was away to pack some fruits and snack for my girl. :)

So, I have to back to my routine after holiday. Deep in my heart, I know that my girl does not like bread. I know that. But yet, Im not giving up to put in a minnie nutella sandwich for her again. I also includes her favourite fruits, strawberries and blueberries. I used my new picks, Okazu picks. So cute. Hehe.

A very easy peasy snack bento for little girl to bring to school. Takes 15 minutes to prepare. :)

Bento No# 98: Rilakkuma Bento

Hello friends! I am so sorry that I did not update my blog for quite a few months. I feel so guilty! Ahhhh...I wish I have 36 hours a day!

Okay...a brief update that I am now back to bento! I am no more making bento for my niece as her school now provides morning tea break and lunch! Her mom not even prepares her breakfast too. LOL. However, I am now back to bento for my little girl! Yay!! Finally, I able to make bento for my little girl!

My girl is 2 year old and I am sending her to half day right brain development centre. I only started to make snack bento for her on her third week of school.

She does not really takes sandwich or bread at home. So, I spread nutella on the sandwich for her. I used rilakkuma cutter as it is small. But there are actually two rilakkumas there. LOL. I packed some seedless grapes for her as she likes grapes. As this is my first time introducing bento for her, I tried to minimise all the decor until she knows how to handle them. Besides, I don't know if my picks will get lost or not. Hahaha..

Guess what? When I picked her up from school, the principal told me she finished her bento! She even asked for more porridge for her lunch. I am so happy and proud of my little girl. I believe, she will be very soon adapting her school life, although she still crying badly every morning! =.=

Bento No# 68: Hello Kitty Bento

I made this hello kitty bento on last thursday. I wanted to blog through my mobile phone, but I do not know why the photos turned upside down when I tried to upload. Therefore, I only able to blog it now.

Hello Kitty, is one of my favourite characters. I have full collection of Hello Kitty in wedding costumes from McD. My niece too, loves Hello Kitty and has been asking me to fix her Hello Kitty bento for loooongggg time, and now finally I made her Hello Kitty bento again. :)
This Hello Kitty bento is for my niece. Included in the box are kaya sandwich, harshbrown and alphabets chocolate cookies in the little pail container. I love this little pail container so much. It is so cute!
I made this version of Hello Kitty bento for myself and hubby. In the box are tuna mayo sandwich, harshbrown and sausages. I cut out the frame using puzzle cutter and the hello kitty in the middle. :)

Bento No# 67: Doraemon Bento

I had lots of doraemon comics in my book shelf. I read a lot doraemon comics when I was young. I love them. I always imagine that how nice if I have doraemon with me. :))

I made simple one. I cut the bread using Match & Munch cutter, combine both pieces puzzle and imprint with doraemon imprint. :) It is nutella sandwich and I included seedless grapes and konyaku jelly for her (my niece).

Me and hubby had 'zhong zhi' (dumpling) as breakfast. No photo taken. Hehe

Bento No# 64 & 65: Hello Kitty Bento & Bed of Bread Bento

I was sick yesterday and not managed to wake up early to make bento. Hence, no bento for yesterday. I am okay now and today I am back for bento-ing. :)

I finally got myself hello kitty cookie cutter! Thus, today I made simple hello kitty bento for my niece. I used cheese for the hello kitty face and the underneatth is nutella sandwich, her favourite. The idea was inspired by another bento mummy, Bonita, you can check out her bento blog. All her bento are really really awesome!
Arrrgghh....what a lousy photo I have here. =.='' I added chocolate teddy bear cookies at both side to fill up the gap. But the light is too bad and the teddy bear cannot be seen here. :-( I also noticed that the cheese is melting too fast here as the hello kitty face is "glowing". LOL. I should try other brand of cheese then.
As for myself and hubby, I just made this two simple bento using the sandwich cutter. I named this Bed of Bread. LOL. I just feel like having BREAD only. Maybe because I do not have appetite yet. Was having bad flu since last two days. I am recovering now. :)

Bento No# 56: Simple Back Bacon and Scrambled Egg Sandwich Bento

I love eggs. You can have lots of ways to cook the egg and as a noob in cooking, I am still learning. So, I tried scrambled egg on last friday. I read on how to make an fluffy scrambled egg but this time I was failed. It looked like fried scrambled egg. :-( Any tips that I need to take care of?
The sandwich consist of two slice of toasted white bread (half sliced for my niece),grilled back bacon and failed scrambled egg. Haha. I have no idea how to decorate the sandwich as the sandwich looked bulky. :p So, as usual I would use the picks! Love the cute picks so much. XD

Bento No# 43: Little Mushroom Man Bento

I made this little mushroom man bento on last Monday. I did not make any today as I need to travel to KL office early in the morning for meeting. I actually thought of making mushroom but I don't think this looks like mushroom although it has three little dots on the head. So, I named it little mushroom man. :=p
Little Mushroom Man Bento
I made three seeled fried egg sandwiches. The little mushroom man are made from ham, cheese and nori. I also packed blueberries, black grapes and strawberry.
I made total of three bentos. Hubby, my niece and myself. :)
